But first the question:   ‘Why use an acronym such as SCOPE?’

When under pressure, most people tend to cut corners. ‘Scope’ is an attempt to establish a clear pattern which we can follow so that we miss nothing. In a sense it is a ‘check list’ and you will appreciate that a check-list is not designed to be followed slavishly, but to ensure you forget nothing.

For example: in particular situation the ‘O’ (order and analyse) may not be needed so you bypass that step … you did not forget it but rather decided it was inappropriate. Very different from forgetting!

Mindsystems is receiving an increasing number of requests for training programs. The original founding company, Teamlink Australia was renowned for its leadership, management, team development and communications training, so we are well equipped to meet these requests.

Here is an update on what is happening:

During April Mindsystems is running MindManager courses in Singapore where over 50 participants will be trained. Mindsystems is the only centre able to offer Mindjet Accreditation in addition to the Mindjet Corporation itself.

In a joint promotion with Cliftons (Asia Pacific’s leading supplier of Training and Conferencing facilities), Mindsystems is running the first Fluent Reading Workshop designed for Secretaries and Personal/Executive Assistance at the end of May.

This is truly an Australian event specifically designed for Australian needs. Each participant will receive a three month subscription to the acclaimed, Australian ‘Rocket Reader’ (see below for further details).

This is a one day workshop designed to combat the single biggest issue of Information Overload: reading, remembering and understanding. Participants can reasonably expect to double their reading speed and significantly increase their comprehension. Participants will also be shown techniques to handle common types of correspondence including the dreaded email!
